Holiday home Africa is located in the Casa Maior, the main building of the Termas. The former thermal baths Termas de Azenha are located on the edge of the river Pranto which ends in the Mondego, just outside the village Pedrogão do Pranto.
There are 2 holiday homes located in the former bathing house, 2 studios in a separate building above the former bar, or in one of the connected 'Caribic Houses' located on a hill with views on the Termas and the surrounding rice fields. All the holiday homes look out onto the Pranto valley.
This accommodation has 2 bedrooms suitable for 4 people. When you walk into the corridor, you will see the bedrooms on your left and on the right is the living room with the "Klee mosaic" and hearth (gas), the kitchen/dining room and the bathroom. The holiday home's entrance is via outside stairs to the side of the main building.
Internet access (WiFi) is available. Communal washing machine and garden with garden furniture and swimming pool (opened from May up to and including Oct) are also accessible.
The proximity of the Atlantic coast with a beach resort like Figueira da Foz (15 km) and the quiet beaches of Lavos and Leirosa make the location ideal for sun and beach lovers.
Those who come to Portugal for the culture will find the old university town of Coimbra which is less than 40 km away. The excavations of the former Roman town of Conimbriga are less than 25 km away and the pilgrimage destination of Fatima, the monastery of Batalha and the spa resorts Curia and Luso are less than an hour's drive away.
