The Almgasthof Fichtenheim is located at 1,800 metres above sea level on the Emberger Alm mountain pasture, high above Carinthia’s Drau Valley. It offers free guided hiking tours, a 120 m² sauna area, and free wired internet in the rooms.
Guests can choose from a buffet offer in the evening, where regional as well as vegetarian dishes and special diet menus are available.
In the allergy-free surroundings, guests of Almgasthof Fichtenheim - Emberger Alm can enjoy hiking, hang-gliding, paragliding, and mountain biking, or, if you are an amateur astronomer, admire the stars and unobstructed dark sky above.
On request, a free shuttle service to and from various places, such as Greifenburg Train Station, the hang-gliding and paragliding landing strips, and several starting point for hikes, is provided. The Emberger Alm mountain pasture is a well-known hiking paradise and is also ideally suited for hiking with children. You are already at an altitude of 1,800 metres above sea level, and you can reach wonderful hiking destinations within a few hours, also with your children. You will receive hiking information, such as route descriptions, weather reports and weather maps, locally. You will also receive the price reduction for your children if they stay in their own rooms, separate from the parents.
