Located on the ground floor, the non-smoking Alpenwiesen apartment includes some Alpine features such as handmade pinewood furniture and wall panelling.
The spacious kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, fridge and a large dining table. There is a comfortable living area with sofas, cable TV and a DVD player. An Austrian style breakfast can be served in the apartment upon prior order at least 2 days in advance.
Bed linen is changed once a week, while clean towels are provided twice every week. Guests can also use the laundry room in the cellar.
In winter, guests can drive to the Postalm ski area in 20 minutes. The Gosau ski area, within the Dachstein West ski region, is just a 25-minute drive away. There is a free ski bus that stops one km away from the house.
Alpenwiesen lies on 1 of many walking routes in and around Bad Ischl which lead up to the mountains and through fields and woods.
Wolfgangsee, Hallstatt and the Dachsteinwest ski area can all be reached by car within 25 minutes.
