Set in a quiet location in the woods in a building over 150 years old, the family-run Hotel Pod Zvičinou offers a mineral spring behind the hotel, opportunities for many outdoor activities including a seasonal pool and a mini farm featuring ponies, sheep, goats and geese.
The rooms are fitted with wooden furniture and have a private bathroom with a shower. There are neither a television nor modern gadgets; it is the owners' philosophy to provide a place amidst natural surroundings with a lot to do outside. Some rooms feature original wooden floors.
A breakfast is served every day and the hotel's restaurant offers regional specialties, coupled with fresh spring water, taken directly at the source spring. After the meal, guests can relax on a terrace overlooking the Krkonoše mountains, or curl up near a fireplace in colder months.
In their leisure time, guests can go geocaching and have fun on adventure treasure hunting trails, enjoy Pod Zvičinou festivals and entertainment activities throughout the year, and children can explore a playground. Other activities include tennis, table tennis, volleyball, paragliding, canoeing and outdoor board games.
There are many cycling trails and cross-country skiing tracks around and bicycles, skis as well as snowboards can be rented on site. The hotel has its own beginner's skiing slope and the Zvičina Ski Area is nearby.
The property is 10 km from Dvůr Králové nad Labem and its Safari Park. The Bílá Třemešná Train Station is 2.5 km away
