Surrounded by the impressive scenery of the Hohe Tauern National Park, Hunguest Hotel Heiligenblut enjoys a scenic location at the foot of the Großglockner, Austria’s highest mountain. It features a restaurant, a spa area with an indoor pool, 3 tennis courts, and a squash court.
The double rooms were renovated in 2015 and feature mountain views, a seating area, an LED TV with various satellite TV and radio channels in different languages, a safe, laminate floors, and a modern bathroom with a rain shower. The TVs also feature a webcam channel showing the nearby hiking and ski areas as well as the Großglockner High Alpine Road.
WiFi and wired internet access are available free of charge in the Heiligenblut Hunguest Hotel’s public areas.
For children, the hotel offers a kids club and a playground. A programme of activities such as guided hikes, rafting, canyoning, and gold panning is offered in summer.
Children up to the age of 10 years get a discounted ski pass if the parents buy a ski pass as well. Summer:

Winter:
Winter in Heiligenblut is living the “high life” in its truest sense - not only because it offers picturesque ski runs that lie well above the timberline, but also because you can enjoy the skiing fun well into spring. In addition, Heiligenblut has a lot to offer away from the ski slopes, such as toboggan runs and ice skating, ice climbing on the frozen waterfall, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snow rafting, skiing tours and winter hiking trails. Even though we are not a wellness hotel, we do offer a number of ways for you to finish off your busy day or perhaps just to spend time in our wellness area on a rainy day.
Our hotel garden offers enough space for recreational activities. Whether you simply want to enjoy lying in the sun on one of our comfortable chaise longues, play volleyball, badminton, boccia or table tennis, or go riding on our pony - the possibilities are endless! Afterwards relax on our terrace with a cup of coffee and enjoy the view of the Grossglockner.
