In the direct proximity there are some leisure activities such as walking, Nordic walking, mountain biking. gliding, midget golf and tennis. There are plenty of possibilities in winter too. A ski lift, skating rink and langlauf lopes can be reached in 5 minutes by car. In good snow conditions you can even ski to the lopes from the house. You can make many excursions from the South of the Black Forest. Such as visiting Bad Säckingen, Todtnau, Schauinsland, Feldberg, St. Blasien, the Schluchsee, the Titisee. etc. A visit to Freiburg (50 km), the Europapark in Rust (130 km), the waterfalls of Schaffhausen (80 km), French Alsace (60 km) and the Bodensee (120 km) are definitely recommended.
