Just 5 minutes’ walk from Grantham’s town centre, this charming Grade II listed Georgian townhouse free WiFi in all rooms and ample free parking on site. The guest house is easily accessible from the A1 and A52 roads, and a 2-minute taxi ride from Grantham train station.

Each guest room comes with en-suite facilities, a flat-screen TV and a tea/coffee making tray. Guests will also benefit from a hairdryer, fan and ironing facilities.

A full cooked English breakfast is served in the dining room each morning. Grantham, a medieval market town, is famous for St John's School where Sir Isaac Newton was a pupil and is also the birthplace of Margaret Thatcher, Britain’s first woman Prime Minister. The town is close to the A1 and is also one of the major stations on the main East Coast railway line.

Grantham has many fine buildings, several good pubs, coaching inns and restaurants, as well as an attractive market place. There is a weekly cattle market and a bustling Saturday street market. A popular farmer's market is a feature on the second Saturday of each month.

The parish church of St Wulfram’s dates back to the 13th century and has a 281-foot (86-metre) spire. The 15th century King's School is north of the church and the historic Grantham House is nearby. The Angel and Royal Hotel is one of the few surviving medieval hostelries in England and is said to have been once the hall of the lords of Grantham. King John is reputed to have held court there in 1213 and Richard III signed the death warrant of the Duke of Buckingham there in 1483.

Grantham also has an excellent range of shops and a shopping centre. There is a fax machine and a computer with internet access in the breakfast room. The computer is on after breakfast during the day, as well as in the evening, and broadband internet access is free of charge. Guests can also use the fax machine, subject to an additional cost.

There is also a fully equipped beauty salon on the premises offering a range of beauty treatments at an additional cost. Treatments on offer include facials, massages, manicures, pedicures, eyebrow tinting and shaping, eyelash tinting and hair removal by waxing.
