This guest house is set on the outskirts of picturesque Pünderich, surrounded by its own beautiful vineyards a few steps from the River Moselle. The large terrace and barbecue area have a scenic view of Marienburg Castle.
The modern-style rooms at Ferien-Weingut Rockenbach and all have their own private bathroom.
The surrounding area invites to be discovered by foot or by bike. The hotel also organises barbecues in the evenings in fine weather.
Guests are welcome to join the Rockenbach's popular wine tasting sessions and learn more about local wines in an informal atmosphere. Breakfast can be provided for an additional fee, when booked in advance.
The historic, wine-producing village of Pünderich makes an ideal romantic getaway, with its old timber-framed buildings and beautiful surrounding landscape. The guest house has free parking and a bicycle garage. The historical wine-producing village of Pünderich is situated half-way between Trier and Koblenz. It is one of the few Moselle locations not to be separated from the river by a bypass road.
The Marienburg, Rosenberg, Nonnengarten and Goldlay wine stocks are representative of the quality of the modern viticultural methods employed in the area.
Extensive hiking and bicycle routes as well as ferry tours on the Moselle invite you to admire the beautiful landscape with its steep Riesling vineyards.
The ancient Roman city of Trier, Hunsrück mountain range and neighbouring Luxembourg are among the other interesting destinations you may wish to explore.
