Enjoying an idyllic location in the southern part of the Upper Black Forest, this family-run guest house offers riding stables and a speciality restaurant.
The guest house is situated on a mountain ridge at an altitude of 934 metres and boasts a glorious, secluded position amid beautiful meadows and forests. St. Märgen lies just 5 minutes from here and offers tennis courts and a swimming pool within the forest. Hiking, cycling and riding are all possible - you are sure to be impressed by the many well-built paths in the area.
In just 30 minutes you can reach Mount Feldberg or Freiburg with its attractive shops, while the theme park Europapark Rust is just a 50-minute journey away. Alternatively, you may wish to visit the famous ski jump at Hinterzarten which lies 15 minutes away. Our love of horses inspired us to establish our own riding stables where we breed horses. Several well-behaved Haflinger horses are waiting to be groomed, saddled, ridden and petted here!
Riding lessons, excursions or simply first encounters with horses can be organised here. The manager himself invites you to go for a trip by horse-drawn carriage.
